When people ask me where to find treasure, gold, gems, or anything rare, I smile, because I’ve heard that before!
Years ago, during a geological field trip deep in the Goldfields of Western Australia, a fellow student turned to our lecturer and asked with eager curiosity,
“So… where's the gold?”
The lecturer paused, half-grinning, and replied, “If I knew where the gold was, I wouldn’t be here teaching you about it, would I?”

That moment stuck with me. It was witty, sure—but it also hinted at something deeper. Finding treasure, whether it's buried in the earth or tucked away in our life’s journey, rarely comes with clear directions. It takes curiosity, effort, and a willingness to dig—sometimes in dust, sometimes in history, sometimes in the soul.

With a name like 'WOODmore' it should come as no surprise that I love trees! I began painting in 2009 when I retired from horticulture and re-forestation. I am grateful to my clients with my art on the walls of their homes and workplaces around the world.
